Ahhhhh most of us love a good soup especially when we need warming up or to get nutriments into our system when ill.  So I thought we would go back to basics and make our own non-shop pre-canned soup.

Easy to make and tastes great with a whole variety of vegetables to prime your engine.

Here is my first soup which is tomato a classic and favourite for many.

  1.  6 Tomatoes
  2. 3 Cherry tomatoes
  3. 2 cloves garlic
  4. 4 large carrots
  5. 1 red onion
  6. Papricka
  7. Chilli powder
  8. 1 red pepper
  9. 1 orange pepper
  10. 1 table spoon sultanas
  11. Pepper
  12. 2 sweet potatoes


  1.  2 Tomatoes
  2. 2 Potatoes
  3. 2 Sweet potatoes
  4. 2 Cloves garlic
  5. 1 Red onion
  6. 2 Carrots
  7. Small portion of turnip
  8. 1 Small broccolie
  9. 3 tbs Quona
  10. Pepper
  11. 2 Stick Cellary
Simple and easy to do.  Boil your ingredients until they are tender keep stirring then add your herbs/spices and take off the heat.  Next you want to blend the ingredients and put through a siv to make smooth.  Always taste and if you feel it needs a kick add a little more herbs/spices and then its ready to go :) 

I have made large portions so I can freeze and save for the week ahead :)
