Want to amp up your standard circuit training try PHA
PHA = Peripheral Heart Action - the workout is designed to keep blood circulating throughout the entire body. You simply alternate from upper and lower body exercises to elicit this blood flowing effect making your heart work harder which will turn up the calorie burn.
Heres an example:
A: Lunge (lower body)
B: Push up (Upper body)
This is a simple example but you can change the reps sets and play with the variables to see what works best for you. These circuits are done one movement followed by another so with minimal rest eliciting the PHA effect. Try it out and make your own or get a qualified trainer to take you through it.
